2009 Football Banquet

Sunday night was the 2009 Moon Area Football Banquet. I would personally like to thank the booster club for all their hard work and efforts in putting this banquet together and providing a memorable night for our young men. It was a fun evening and great to see everyone together once again.

Congratulations to John Duffley - Thomas Dish Award Winner, Vince Colaianni - Eckleberry Award Winner, Alex Kamenski - Baker Award Winner and Sam Petraglia for winning the first ever Fred Cercone III Award!! These are all great achievements and you should be proud that you etched your mark in the great Tiger Football tradition!!

Also receiving awards were Dan Dellovade - Defensive Player of the Year, Chad Bertrand - Special Teams Player of the Year and Vince Colaianni - Offensive Player of the Year. Congratulations

We would also like to give a special thanks to Melissa Mancosh and the cheerleaders for all their hard work throughout the season and for putting such time and effort into the senior boys' scrapbooks.

Good luck seniors in all your future endeavors!!!

Middle School Football Team

Yesterday afternoon the Middle School Football team celebrated their undefeated season with a pizza party. It was a fantastic ending to a year of success on and off the field. The entire Moon Football program is very proud of these young men for the work they put forth throughout the season and the perfect results. Congratulation boys and we look forward to seeing your growth through the coming months and years!!

Middle School Football Team

Congratulations to the middle school football team and Coach Hrivnak, Coach Blyzwick, Coach Garuccio and Coach Scott for an incredible undefeated season. The middle school team finished off their perfect season with a hard fought win over rival Montour!! It was a great finish to a fantastic season. Congratulation boys!!!
