Spaghetti Dinner

On Wednesday, August 18th the Moon Area Quarterback Club will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner for all supporters of the Moon Area Football Program. After dinner, practice will be open to the public. Cheerleading Fundraiser

On Sunday August 8th at the Robinson Quaker Steak and Lube the Cheerleaders will be holding a carwash. The cheerleaders will also be getting a percentage of the amount of money spent that day at Quaker Steak. Please show your support and grab some wings and your car washed!

Shoe Sale

At 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, we will be holding a shoe and clothing sale. All 2010 Nike shoes will be on sale as well as football accessory items, such as gloves, girdles, etc...

This will be held in the aux gym of the high school. Following the sale we will have our normal Wednesday night workout.

2010 Golf Outing, Program Ad and Camp of Champions

On the right side of the page you will find links to registration forms for the 2010 Golf Outing, Program Ad and Camp of Champions. These are all great events that I encourage you to participate in and assist with making them stellar!

Monday TIGER MANUAL meeting

On Monday April 12th we will be having a team meeting following dinner. I will be passing out schedules for April through August. We will also be continuing our Tiger Manual. Please make sure your son is in attendance and brings his manual with him!!!

Night at the Races

Thank you to all who attended, donated and helped make our 2nd Annual Night at the Races an amazing success. It was a fun night for all and it was fantastic to see so many people supporting Moon football and the boys. We are definitely heading in the right direction!

A special thank you to Tim and Chris Grady and Joyce Dellovade for organizing this event and putting so much of their time and efforts into making this event a resounding success.

Another special thank you to Ray Pronto for donating the television back to the football team to watch videos on.

I can't say enough about how wonderful of an event it was and the dedication that was put into making it a success!

Night at the Races

I look forward to seeing you all at the 2nd Annual Night at the Races.

We have many wonderful prizes to give away as well as up for auction. These items range from Penguin tickets in the new arena, Steeler tickets, a wide variety of signed helmets and footballs ranging from Tim Tebow to Jack Ham to Santonio Holmes to Evgeni
Malkin.



We also have a 50inch flat screen television that will be given away.

This will be a wonderful night of fellowship and fun with the Moon Football family and I hope to see you there!!

Reminder

As a reminder: Tonight's workout will be from 7p.m.-9p.m. in the high school gym. Please plan on attending.

Wednesday Night Workouts

In order to maximize participation we are going to be holding or Wednesday workouts in the evening from 7p.m. - 9p.m. This should provide ample opportunity for everyone to get their homework done as well as make it to the workout. These workouts are very important in regards to installing our fundamentals.

Here are the dates:

March 24 - April 7 - April 14 - April 21 - April 28

March 30 will be a Tuesday night workout!!! We will be lifting on Wednesday!

All workouts will be in the high school main gym and maybe on the field depending on the weather. I look forward to seeing you there!

Evening Workout

This week's workout has been changed from Wednesday to tomorrow evening. We will be working out from 6:oo p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the high school auxiliary gym.

Moon Area Athletic Department College Recruiting Night

The Moon Area Athletic Department will host its 1st Annual College Recruiting on February 24th in the HS Auditorium.

The evening with begin at 7:00 pm and address what requirements and guidelines the NCAA has for students to enter collegiate athletics, along with how to get help with the process at Moon HS.

There will be a presentation by recruiting expert, Mike Tomczak about what it takes to become a college athlete, and the recruiting process. Mike Tomczak is a former NFL Quarterback for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers.

We invite EVERYONE in grades 7-11 to join us on Feb 24th (students and parents).

Night at the Races

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 the Moon Area Quarterback Club will be holding its second annual Night at the Races. This is a fun night to enjoy time with friends and family of the Moon Area football team. There will be chinese and silent auctions as well as the opportunity to win a flat screen television. Join us at the Moose in Coraopolis, 865 4th Ave. at 6:00 p.m. for a night of fellowship and fun, while supporting Tiger Football grades 7 through 12!!!

Team Meeting
